Dr.MSc DPhil. Alexander Kaltenboeck is a medical doctor and consultant psychiatrist at the Medical University of Vienna (MUV). He holds a Master’s degree in Mind, Language and Embodied Cognition from the University of Edinburgh and a doctoral degree in Psychiatry from the University of Oxford. He leads an inpatient unit specializing in the treatment of severe obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD). In addition to his clinical work, he is actively engaged in medical education across all stages of training and leads a research group dedicated to applied cognitive and qualitative research in mental health.
