Alija Hadžiefendić

Alija Hadžiefendić is a sixth-year medical student at the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. His interests include psychiatry, neuroscience, public health, and clinical research, with a focus on improving healthcare through evidence-based practice and innovation. He has actively engaged in academic and research initiatives, including presenting his work on artificial intelligence in psychiatry at the 2025 Bosnian Herzegovinian American Association of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) Medical Student Symposium, and actively participating in organisation of student-led academic events at SSST. As a member of the WeMind project, he is committed to promoting mental health awareness and supporting the development of accessibility, evidence-based digital mental health resources for young people.
