Dr. Leandrit Mehmeti

Associate Dean and Assistant Professor at RIT Kosovo. Dr. Leandrit Mehmeti holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from the University of South Australia and has previously held academic and administrative positions at the University of South Australia and the South Australian Institute of Business and Technology, where he served as Head of the Diploma of Arts Department. He teaches courses in political science, communication, and writing and supervises Capstone projects. His research expertise includes security studies, democratization, post-conflict transition, governance, humanitarian aid and intervention, and European Union integration policies and perspectives. Dr. Mehmeti also serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Peace, Conflict and Security Studies, leading the publication of peer-reviewed research on peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and security policy.
